Company Timeline
Steve Hughes sets out as a Sole Trader under Ryemead Cleaning. The name originates from the road name Ryemead Way where Steve bought his first flat in High Wycombe! We now hold the contract at this site for Hallmark PML!
Following a very successful first year as a Sole Trader, the company is incorporated at companies houses as Ryemead Commercial Cleaning Limited.
As business thrives, we book our first commercial premises and sign a 3-year lease at our new home: Unit 23 Rose Business Estate, Marlow Bottom.
Ryemead's management, standards and guidelines are assessed and approved to ISO9001:2015 standards. We also become a Safe Contractor accredited company.
As the business continues to grow we are crowned Thames Valley High Growth Business of the Year. We also move into larger premises in Loudwater, in order to keep up with expansion plans. Annual Revenues hit £0.5m.
We are crowned Thames Valley Small Business of the Year, becoming the only company to win at the awards in successive years. We are also awarded a 3 year window cleaning contract at University of Winchester.
Despite the pandemic, Ryemead see an increase in overall revenues of 20% based on solid client base and flexibility of business model during a testing times. Annual revenues hit £1m. We become CHAS accredited.
Runners up in prestigious Window Cleaning Company of the Year Award presented at the Cleaning Show at the Excel. Runners Up in TVCC Small Business of the Year award.
As our core services continue to boom, we invest in a brand new MultiLift 25m Truckmount system to deliver a platform to reduce our reliance on cherry-pickers and reduce costs for our clients.
Due to continued growth and investment in the business adding more services and more clients we incorporated to Ryemead Commercial Group Limited in February
